Side chicks

I'm excited to announce we are expanding! The new hutches will be here soon and then we will bring home more chicks in the near future! 

I won't tell what kind. I'm extremely interested in other kinds of quails because I'm so happy with my coturnix quail chicks that now don't mind being tended to... which they are used to how things work when I clean and give food and water. I want to keep my favorites, which are the bigger ones, I'll keep them for eggs. I handle the biggest one every day and the others are picked up at random. They are getting bigger and less fragile. We are setting up patio space for roosters so we can separate them in the next coming days to a week. But It's a surprise what quails are coming to the homestead this week.
